The Kannada film titled ‘Crazy Keerthi’ is poised to ignite a new frenzy among the younger generation, which is the aspiration of the Priya Balaji Productions team.
After completing the film, the team faced the media on a Saturday morning. The film is both produced and directed by Balaji Madhav Shetty, who is confident in receiving a positive response from college youths as it portrays their lifestyle. Additionally, it features a romantic storyline and delightful songs. Balaji Madhav Shetty, the producer, and director, expressed gratitude to the experienced director and actor Omprakash Rao for providing valuable support to the film. Rao also plays a special role in the movie. His advice on crafting a quality film greatly aided the director and producer. He urged the media to actively promote the significance of the film ‘Crazy Keerthi.’
“I was fortunate to be offered a role by the director. He insisted that I take on this particular character. I was drawn to the storyline, which was narrated during the coronavirus pandemic. I shared my knowledge to assist the film director,” disclosed veteran director and actor Om Prakash Rao. He added, “The film’s hero, Abhilash, has been fortunate, and the rest of the cast has performed their roles admirably.”
According to the film’s hero, Abhilash, ‘Crazy Keerthi’ boasts a plethora of plot twists. The film is not only suitable for students but also for individuals of all age groups. “Entertainment is the focal point here, and the eccentricities of a spirited girl are central to this film,” he remarked.
Sarika Rao, who plays a vibrant role, stated, “I portray the titular character, Keerthi. It was a valuable learning experience for me, and Omprakash Rao was instrumental in teaching me many things. He serves as the creative director for this film. This new-genre film is packed with innovative elements,” Sarika Rao confidently shared. Risha Gowda, another heroine of the film, emphasized that she also plays a coveted role in the movie.
The cast includes Rangayana Raghu, Padmaja Rao, Prakash Shenoy, Asha Sujai, and others. The veteran cinematographer Manohar manned the camera, while Lakshminarayana Reddy handled the editing for ‘Crazy Keerthi.’
Laya Kokila, the brother of Sadhu Kokila, composed music for two songs and provided the background score. Laya Kokila appreciated the simplicity of N Omprakash Rao.
