The latest Kannada film, ‘Click,’ marked a moment on Saturday as its trailer graced the iconic New York Times Square screen. This milestone represents the first instance of a Kannada film trailer being unveiled on an international cinematic platform.

The trailer event, held in Bangalore, featured the release of Master Pawan Basrur’s movie trailer, son of renowned music director Ravi Basrur, famous for his work on the KGF sequels. The extravaganza showcased the unique appeal of ‘Click.’

Naveen Shankar, acclaimed actor from ‘Kshetrapati’ and ‘Salaar,’ unveiled the trailer and extended best wishes to the film’s crew. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of recognizing and nurturing the talents of children, praising the trailer for its immediate likability.

Vignesh, the lead actor in the Kannada film ‘Kantha,’ praised ‘Click’ for its meaningful message, focusing on the mentality of children. Pawan, previously seen in a minor role in ‘Girmit,’ takes the lead in ‘Click,’ portraying a father committed to understanding and appreciating his child’s talents.

Actress Chandrakala Mohan conveyed the idea that success in life should resonate with one’s choices. She emphasized the significance of identifying and encouraging children’s interests to foster their achievements.

The film’s music, composed by Vishwas Kaushik, complements the dynamic action sequences crafted by Sasikumar, with Akash Parva providing a compelling background score. Jeevan Gowda’s cinematography and Vinay Kumar’s editing contribute to the film’s visual appeal.

Produced by Techy Sasikiran through Sharanya Films, with Varun Raghavendra as a co-producer, the film boasts a star-studded cast, including Master Pawan, Master Karthik, Chandrakala Mohan, Rachana Dasharath, Sanju Basaiah, and more.

Challenging the conventional aspirations of parents for their children to become doctors or engineers, ‘Click’ advocates for allowing children to follow their passions. Sasikiran, the producer, shared his journey of pursuing his artistic interests despite family expectations, emphasizing the importance of supporting children’s choices.

Sasikiran highlighted the selection of Pawan as the film’s hero based on his impressive performance in the Kannada film ‘Girmit.’ Renowned music director Ravi Basrur advised Sasikiran to conduct an audition for his son, reinforcing the belief in Pawan’s potential. Anand and Sumana Shashi play parental roles in the film, which is slated for release in March this year.

The shooting locations for ‘Click’ span Bengaluru, Bidadi Ramanagara, and Kundapur, creating a visually captivating backdrop for the film’s narrative.
