The super hit film ‘Rathavara’ director Chandrasekhar Bandiappa has been hinting about his film team over the last fifteen days. He has released posters featuring dialogue king Saikumar and Dhanya Ramkumar. Now, with an interesting title, ‘Chowkidar’ (popularized by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi), the film went on the floors at Bande Mahakali Temple in Bengaluru.
While Kallahalli Chandrasekhar, the film’s producer, clapped the board, Saikumar switched on the camera.
The film stars ‘Dialogue King’ Saikumar in the lead role, with Pruthvi Ambaar and Dr. Rajakumar’s granddaughter Dhanya Ramkumar also featuring in this film. Director Chandrasekhar Bandiappa mentioned that this is his sixth film. It will be released in multiple languages. Kallahalli Chandrasekhar is the producer of this movie. After ‘Rathavara’ became a hit, they asked me to do another movie.
Actor Pruthvi Ambaar said, “After I heard the story, I felt that I had to put in a lot of effort for this role and needed time to prepare. The director gave me the necessary time, and from there, my journey began. We shot the teaser in one day. It’s a lot of fun. I feel lucky. There are many experiences about life. A different element has been mixed with the complete family.”
Veteran actor Saikumar, who has over 200 films to his credit, said, “Next year, I will complete 50 years as an actor. The reason for all this is my father and mother. Amma says I should do Kannada movies. My Kannada journey has also completed 30 years. Every day, every movie role challenges me. Fifteen movies are in the works now. A glimpse of Chandrasekhar’s movie is good. ‘Chowkidar’ is an emotional drama. I have done a Tulu movie where Pruthvi was the hero, and I played the police officer. The subject of this film is good. For Pruthvi, I am the ‘Chowkidar’; for me, Chandrasekhar Bandiappa is the real ‘Chowkidar’.”
Kallahalli Chandrasekhar is producing the movie ‘Chowkidar’ under the Vidya Sekhar Entertainment banner. Sachin Basruru is handling the music direction, and the film features lyrics by Nagendra Prasad and Pramod Maravante.
‘Chowkidar’ is being made in multiple languages, and Pruthvi Ambaar, who has so far appeared as a lover boy in movies, will entertain the audience with action sequences in this film. This will be a surefire family entertainer, promises director Chandrasekhar Bandiappa.
