For the auspicious moment of Anirudh Jathakar’s (Son-in-law of Dr. Vishnuvardhan) commencement at Sri Ramanjaneya Temple, the esteemed Padmasri Dr. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan and the renowned superstar Upendra graced the occasion to inaugurate and bestow their blessings upon the team.
In conjunction with this event, the movie ‘Chef Chidambara’ unveiled an intriguing teaser. Superstar Upendra presented a clapboard, while Dr. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan initiated the camera for the inaugural shot.
Director Anand Raj elucidates that this film belongs to the dark comedy genre. Anirudh Jathakar is making a comeback to acting after a hiatus of five years.
The initial filming phase is set to take place in Bengaluru. Notable characters in the movie include Nidhi Subbaiah, Rachel David, Sharat Lohitashva, KS Sridhar, Raghu Ramanakoppa, Shivamani, and others. The production is overseen by Roopa DN.
The key technical team comprises Uday Leela for cinematography, Rithwik Muralidhar for music, BR Naveen Kumar for sound design, and Chetan Chandra for editing.
Speaking of his role, Anirudh Jathakar mentioned, “This is my first time portraying a chef in my acting career. The storyline revolves around a murder case. Producer Roopa’s husband, Sarvottham, was particularly taken with this concept and enthusiastically undertook the production.”
Roopa DN, the producer of Damthi Pictures’ debut film, humbly sought everyone’s support for the movie’s success.
Dr. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan fondly recalled her husband’s (the prolific actor of 200-plus films) blockbuster Kannada movie ‘Yajamana’. Interestingly, the film’s muhurta was held at the same venue.
Superstar Upendra took the opportunity to unveil the film’s teaser during the event. Anirudh Jathakar’s wife, Keerthi, was also present at the movie’s auspicious beginning.
