In Kannada, ‘Chatta’ means—the final bamboo bed preparation following the departure from life. In the traditional bamboo stick style, this concluding journey is referred to as ‘Chatta.’
Contrary to common expectations, director Bhanu Prakash insists that the film ‘Chatta’ offers a distinctive experience. Having previously contributed to the internationally acclaimed film ‘Care of Footpath’ and several Telugu films, Bhanu Prakash introduced his title amidst esteemed guests such as Dr V Nagendra Prasad and veteran Joe Simon.
For Bhanu Prakash, ‘Chatta’ symbolizes the last page of a book, making it a pan-Indian cinematic endeavor. The director is in the process of finalizing the technical team and cast for the upcoming production.
Produced by KM Creations, led by Kumar M, Anaji Ramesh, and D Obal Reddy, with K Ram Murthy, Vasudevan, and Prakash Gowda as co-producers, ‘Chatta’ is set to captivate audiences with its mystery drama genre. CH Uttanoorappa serves as the executive producer.
Scheduled to hit the floors in February of the upcoming year, ‘Chatta’ promises to be a cinematic exploration into the enigmatic realms of the last chapter.
