On September 29th, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., another Bundh was organized throughout Karnataka in the ongoing century-old Cauvery water distribution dispute. Just two days earlier, a successful Bengaluru Bundh took place. This means that within three days, two Bundhs disrupted social life.
During a large gathering in support of Karnataka’s stance on the Cauvery water issue, the KFCC held a meeting led by the new President, MN Suresh.
The actors’ fraternity showed strong attendance, with the exception of V Ravichandran, Yash, and Sudeep. Among those present at the Cauvery Bundh meeting were Dr. Shivarajakumar, Upendra, Darshan, Hamsalekha, Gurukiran, Girija Lokesh, Shruthi, Srujan Lokesh, Prem, Prajwal Devaraj, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Dhuniya Vijay, Vinod Raj, Nikhil Kumar, Thara, Sudharani, Pramila Joshai, Roopika, Mithra, Padma Vasanthi, Dhruva Sarja, Umasri, Vijaya Raghavendra, SA Chinne Gowda, Sri Murali, Srinivasamurthy, Srinath, Srinagara Kitty, Vinod Prabhakar, Sunder Raj, Anu Prabhakar, Naveen Krishna, Raghu Mukerjee, Pooja Gandhi, Priya Haasan, Anirudh, Chikkanna, Roopika, Padma Vasanthi, Dharma Keerthiraj, KFCC members, and a large crowd who witnessed the stars’ speeches.
In other regions of the state, Vatal Nagaraj Paksha conducted the Bundh.
