The trailer and songs of the movie “Capital City” were unveiled in the presence of several prominent figures. Directed by R. Anantharaju, the movie stars Rajeev Reddy in the lead role.
The film is produced under the banner of “Infinity Creations,” a company founded by over twenty like-minded individuals. The director of superhit films like “Appu Pappu,” “Mast Maja Maadi,” and “Nanda,” R. Anantharaju, has also directed this film, with Rajeev Reddy, who has appeared in movies like “Ramba,” playing the lead role. The trailer and songs were unveiled by C.K. Ramamurthy, a Member of the Legislative Assembly from Jayanagar, and BJP leader Renukacharya. The event was graced by Shivalingeshwara Shantamuni Swamiji and Aditya Swamiji. Prominent figures like Umesh Banakar, President of the Kannada Film Producers’ Association, Shilpa Srinivas, D.K. Ramakrishna, former President of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce Bhama Harish, and N.R.K. Vishwanath, President of the Kannada Film Directors’ Association, also attended the event. Members of the film’s team later spoke.
The film has been produced by twenty producers under the banner of Infinity Creations. The director thanked everyone involved for their contributions, which made the film come together well. The story revolves around the underworld of Bangalore and follows how the troubled protagonist overcomes his challenges. Despite being an action film, it contains all the necessary elements to satisfy the audience. Rajeev Reddy plays the lead, with Prerana as the female lead, along with senior actors like Ravishankar, Sharath Lohithashwa, and K.S. Sridhar. Some of the producers have also appeared in the film. The film is almost ready for release, and Director Anantharaju mentioned that it is set to hit the screens by the end of January 2025.
“This is a revenge story. The film shows how you protect yourself when you’re troubled,” said lead actor Rajeev Reddy, commenting on his role. Actress Prerana, producers Manjunath, Colonel Rajendra, Shivappa Kudluru, Antony Raj, Krishnamurthy, and music director Nag spoke about the film.
