Parents are investing in their children’s journey to fame in the entertainment industry. One notable figure in this field is the dashing actor Raksh Raam, renowned for his roles in the mega serials “Gattimela” and “Putta Gowri,” which collectively spanned over 3000 episodes. He is set to play the lead in “Burma,” while his spouse, Anusha, serves as a producer in Sri Sai Anjaneya Company. Will it be a safe bet?
This holds some truth, thanks to the dependable track record of director Bahaddur Chetan Kumar, known for delivering box office hits such as “Bahaddur,” “Barjari,” and “Bharate,” all bearing titles starting with the letter ‘B.’ However, he briefly shifted his focus to the letter ‘J’ with the film “James,” starring Puneeth Rajakumar (a film that grossed over Rs. 100 crore). Now, he returns to his ‘B’ letter tradition with “Burma.”
Does the title “Burma” have any connection to the former South Asian country name “Burma,” also known as “Myanmar” since 1989? Indeed, there is a connection, as confirmed by the highly regarded director Chetan Kumar in his fifth directorial venture.
The auspicious muhrut ceremony for the film took place at the Doddaganapathi Temple, situated on Bull Temple Road in Bengaluru, in the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Ashwini Puneeth Rajakumar, Raghavendra Rajakumar, leading hero Dhruva Sarja, KP Srikanth, renowned director AP Arjun, Dheeran Ramkumar, former KFCC President Ba Ma Harish, and others.
According to the director, who has a history of successful films, “Burma” signifies the abode of Lord Brahma. This cinematic masterpiece will be presented in five Indian languages, with D Beats securing the audio rights for all versions. The acclaimed music director V Harikrishna is on board, with Sankesh handling cinematography, Mahesh Reddy overseeing editing, and Dr. Ravi Verma coordinating stunts, all under the guidance of director Chetan Kumar. This action-packed entertainment is scheduled to commence shooting on October 3 in Mangaluru, featuring Aditya Menon in a pivotal role.
For Raksh Raam, collaborating with director Chetan Kumar has been a long-standing desire. He expresses his gratitude and anticipates that “Burma” will be a bona fide family entertainer. His wife, Anusha, holds the official producer role for this film.
The film “Burma” bears the caption, “Ayudha Balasuvudu Adambara alla adu Acharane.”
