With such remarkable achievements, Sihi Kahi Chandru marked the grand celebration of the 1000th episode of ‘Bombat Bhojana.’ The star-studded event saw the participation of Raja Vikram, the business head of Suvarna Channel, Varsha, the program head, and other luminaries. The celebration included a lavish spread of food served on a plantain leaf on ‘Ekadashi Day,’ accompanied by songs and jubilant festivities. Veteran actress Vijayalakshmi’s Hindi performance added to the joy, prompting everyone to join in a lively dance. He reminisced about the unforgettable moments when the team was confined to different rooms for episodes. Chandru revealed that despite contemplating giving up his culinary programs in 1991 due to being overshadowed as an actor, the genre stuck with him, compelling him to infuse a novel touch. Looking ahead, on January 15, 2024, Sihi Kahi Chandru is set to launch Season 4 of ‘Bombat Bhojana,’ with plans to feature common people on his platform. Notable figures from previous seasons included Deputy CM of Karnataka DK Shivakumar, Sudha Murthy, Arundhati Nag, Bhasker Rao, Gururaj Karjagi, and others. The 1000th episode featured the renowned Kannada actress Malashri, and upcoming episodes will showcase more celebrities, including a schedule with NRIs in Australia.
