The most awaited Kannada film from Geetha Pictures – Bhairathi Ranagal, starring Dr. Shivarajkumar, recently held a pre-release event and is all set for a grand release across Karnataka on November 15.

Produced by Geetha Shivarajkumar under the banner of Geetha Pictures, the film Bhairathi Ranagal is directed by Narthan and stars Shivarajkumar in the lead role. The pre-release event was held in a grand manner at Nandi Links Ground, Hosakerehalli.

The much-anticipated film will release on November 15. Notably, Shivarajkumar’s 1996 superhit Janumada Jodi also released on November 15 at Nartaki Theatres. Now, Bhairati Ranagal will premiere on the same day at the same venue, marking a special coincidence.

The celebration of the release event was graced by actors Daali Dhananjaya, Neenasam Satish, Vijaya Raghavendra, Sudharani, Shruti, Rakshita Prem, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President N.M. Suresh, former President Sa Ra Govindu, producers Surappa Babu and K.P. Srikanth, and directors Bahadur Chetan and Pawan Wodeyar, among other dignitaries who shared their warm wishes for Bhairathi Ranagal.

Actor Shivarajkumar expressed his admiration for his role as Bhairathi Ranagal in the film Mufti, adding that Bhairathi Ranagal serves as a prequel to Mufti. He praised director Narthan for crafting a compelling story and for his adept direction. Shivarajkumar assured fans that Bhairathi Ranagal would be close to their hearts. This is the second film produced by Geetha Shivarajkumar under the Geetha Pictures banner, made with a talented team of technicians and artists. The film is set to release on November 15.

Shivarajkumar also reflected on the release date, noting, “Twenty-eight years ago, on November 15, my film Janumada Jodi, directed by Nagabharana, premiered in theaters. This film is also releasing on November 15 in Nartaki Theatres, and its director, Narthan, has ‘na na’ in his name, too. It’s a coincidence. My mother was the producer of that film, and the producer of this one is my wife.”

Director Narthan and producer Geetha Shivarajkumar urged the audience to support the film. The event was attended by actress Rukmini Vasanth, actress Chaya Singh, and other artists, including Avinash, Babu Hirannaiah, Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Madhu Guruswamy, Dancing Rose Shabir, and Pratap, along with music director Ravi Basrur, cinematographer Naveen Kumar, and other technicians who contributed to the film.
