The teaser for the film serves as the first invitation to audiences, setting the stage for their excitement to fill the theaters. Janardhan, also known as Ram Janardhan, with over 15 years of experience, has crafted a clever trailer from his mass entertainer film.
NM Suresh, the President of KFCC, praised the trailer of the film ‘Bhagiratha’ but also cautioned the film’s hero, JP, not to be late for his function. A one-hour delay is too much, especially considering the presence of all media personnel. However, JP’s social work was acknowledged by the KFCC President.
‘Bhagirath’ promises a unique storyline and is set to release next month, in June, coinciding with the monsoon season. Produced by K. Ramesh and B. Bhairappa Mysore under the Sai Ramesh Production banner and directed by Ram Janardhan, the film’s teaser was recently unveiled.
The muhurta ceremony for our film took place last September. With the shooting now complete, the film is ready to hit the screens, with efforts underway for its release. I started my directorial journey with the film “Boyfriend,” and “Bhagirath” marks my fifth directorial venture. It’s a story based on current politics, revolving around a journalist. The teaser was released today, and Director Ram Janardhan expressed gratitude to NM Suresh for the release. He also expressed the challenges of ensuring a film’s success at the box office.
Jayaprakash, who started as a journalist and transitioned into acting through the film “Jamana,” considers “Bhagirath” his third film. My character’s name is “Suryaprakash,” and the director has crafted a compelling story. As the name “Bhagirath” suggests, there’s also a water-related storyline in this film. Reflecting on the intense shooting schedule, the protagonist recalled having to juggle between attending Cauvery water issue protests in the morning and shooting for the film in the evenings.
I was drawn to the director’s storytelling, which led us to proceed with production. We plan to release the film soon, encouraged by producers K. Ramesh and B. Bhairappa.
Actress Shriya Pavani shared that she plays the role of the hero’s niece’s daughter. Music director Pradeep Verma reminisced about his ‘Karanji’ days, a film by NM Suresh, where he started as a keyboard operator and eventually transitioned into music direction. Suri Chittoor discussed his work behind the camera, highlighting Jayaprakash’s effortless performance.
The star-studded cast of this film includes Jayaprakash, Chandana Raghavendra, Sudha Belawadi, Shivraj KR Pete, Ravi Kale, Srinivasa Prabhu, Bala Rajawadi, Nayana, Surabhi Ravi, and Shreya Pavani.
