In the realm of Kannada cinema, titles like ‘Bhagheera’ and ‘Bhagirathi’ are already familiar. Now, in the production of Sai Ramesh Productions, we present ‘Bhagiratha.’ The film’s commencement took place at the auspicious Bande Mahakalamma temple, located in the bustling Gavipuram area of Bengaluru, with the initiation given by K Ramesh and B Bhyrappa from Mysuru.

The director of more than 100 films, Om Saiprakash, marked the start by showing the clapboard, and Siri Kannada’s head, Rajesh Rajghatta, initiated the camera for the inaugural shot under the guidance of director Ram Janardhan.

Ram Janardhan, renowned for the 2005 Kannada film ‘Boy Friend,’ is at the helm of ‘Bhagiratha.’ Over the past 18 years, he has been involved in various film projects. The cast includes Jayaprakash, Chandana Raghavendra, Sudha Belawadi, Shivaraj KR Pete, Ravi Kale, Bala Rajawadi, Surabhi Ravi, Nayana, Nikitha, and others. Veteran director Om Sai Prakash takes on the role of ‘Matadhipathi.’ Producers Ramesh and Byrappa from Mysuru were captivated by director Ram Janardhan’s vision.

State award-winning writer JM Prahallad collaborates with director Ram Janardhan for the first time, bridging the gap between the media and the film industry.

Pradeep Varma takes on the role of music director, while Soori Chittur handles cinematography. Ravichandran oversees editing, and Thriller Manju orchestrates the stunts for ‘Bhagiratha.’
