Renowned for his skills as a character artist in films and theatrical productions, Basu Kumar takes on the lead role in ‘Detective Gajavadana,’ a Kannada film that recently commenced shooting at Ittumadu Sri Mahaganapathi temple under the direction of JJ Srinivas.
This marks JJ Srinivas’s third directorial venture, and ‘Detective Gajavadana’ boasts a suspenseful thriller script with plans for filming in Bengaluru. The director is committed to creating a family entertainer, assembling a team of skilled technicians and artists.
In the film, Basu Kumar, a modest and talented actor, portrays a character who, despite not being a detective by profession, assumes the role when his family faces challenges. The film’s narrative revolves around the hero, played by Chandana Raghavendra, alongside MS Umesh, Vijay Chendur, Dinesh Mangalru, Vikram, Bala Rajawadi, and others in supporting roles.
AT Raveesh is responsible for the musical score, Shyam handles the cinematography, Nagendra Urs serves as the editor, and Jagadish Nidavalli is the story’s writer.
