From the producer of successful films like Rangi Taranga and Avane Srimannarayana, H.K. Prakash, comes Bank of Bhagyalakshmi, starring Dheekshith Shetty — known for hits like Dia and Blink. The film is directed by Abhishek M, and its first song has been released through MRT Music (Lahari). Brunda Acharya, known for Prema Poojyam and Kousalya Supraja Rama, plays the female lead. The team kickstarted the promotions by releasing the first song titled “Hara Om,” a devotional song about Shiva, written by Nagarjuna Sharma. The film is being made in both Kannada and Telugu, and the song too was released simultaneously in both languages. In Kannada, it’s sung by Shilpa and in Telugu by popular singer Mangli. Music is composed by Judah Sandy. Usha Bhandari and Darshan have choreographed the song. Lahari Velu released the song and wished the team success. Later, members of the film team spoke.
“This is my debut directorial, though I had earlier worked as co-director with Simple Suni. I, Rakshit Shetty, and Sachin also run a VFX studio named Pinaka. Producer Prakash has known me since the time of Avane Srimannarayana. He decided to back the project after hearing the story. Bank of Bhagyalakshmi has a unique storyline. Filming is already complete, and today we have released the first song ‘Hara Om.’ Music is by Judah Sandy. The song has been simultaneously released in Kannada and Telugu. This track comes in the film’s pre-climax and ties into the story,” said director Abhishek.
“I became a producer with Rangitaranga. This is my sixth production. The songs of Rangitaranga were released through Lahari, and this film’s songs are also being released through them. Velu has extended generous support. Director Abhishek has come up with a great story. Rangitaranga was released ten years ago in July, and this film too will release in July,” said producer Prakash.
“Exactly around this time last year, my film Blink released. After a year, I’m meeting you all again. The song released today is very beautiful. What’s special is that my guru and students I trained have acted in this song,” shared lead actor Dheekshith Shetty.
“My day begins with chanting Shiva’s name. After listening to this song, I’ve hummed it countless times — it’s that amazing,” said lead actress Brunda Acharya about “Hara Om.”
Lyricist Nagarjuna Sharma, cinematographer Abhishek Kasaragodu, and actors Srivatsa, Shreyas Sharma, Ashwin, and Vinuth, who play the hero’s friends, along with choreographers Usha Bhandari and Darshan, all spoke about “Hara Om.” Usha Bhandari has also acted in the song.
