The trailer for the Kannada film ‘Bang’ was launched with great enthusiasm at the crowded 4th floor of Lulu Mall in Bengaluru on Sunday evening. The trailer, featuring the renowned voice-over of Karunada Chakravarthy Kichcha Sudeep, was unveiled by the national award-winning actor Dattanna (HG Dattatreya).

Dattanna expressed his excitement about watching the trailer and conveyed his best wishes to the team behind ‘Bang’. He also mentioned his previous collaboration with the humble producer Smt Pooja Vasanth Kumar and hoped for the film’s success at the box office when it releases on August 18 across Karnataka.

Clarifying any misconception that ‘Bang’ has no relation to ‘The Big Bang Theory.’ Instead, the film promises to make a powerful impact on August 18. Anand Audio Anand was pleased with the addition of the first song from the popular All OK rapper in their collection. The song titled ‘Slow Motion…’ was revealed before the trailer release, along with the title track. Anand, the proprietor of the prestigious audio house, mentioned that ‘Bang’ explores a different genre for Anand Audio.

Director Sriganesh Parashuram expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to present his long-awaited dream to the audience. He shared that every scene in the film was crafted with great interest to pique the audience’s curiosity. Describing ‘Bang’ as a dark comedy with action and thrill, Sriganesh stated that the movie runs for two hours and five minutes. He also mentioned that the audience will witness Shanvi Srivatsa and ace composer-singer Raghu Dixit in completely new avatars.

Shanvi Srivastava, the lead actress, took on an action role for the first time in her career, portraying a ruthless princess in the film. Initially, she took one month to approve the role, but she appreciated the supportive work environment and credited producer Pooja Vasanthkumar for that. Shanvi expressed her satisfaction with the experimental role, especially after having mostly played bubbly characters in her nine-year acting career. She expressed her eagerness to continue taking up such challenging roles.

Raghu Dixit, a well-known singer and composer, felt hesitant at first about taking on the role of ‘Daddy,’ a gangster, in the film. Despite his extensive experience in music and dance, he saw acting as a new phase in his life. ‘Bang’ features a unique dynamic between Shanvi Srivastav’s character, the daughter, and Raghu Dixit’s character, the daddy, both of whom find themselves at odds in the film.

The movie also stars Rithwik, Sunil, and Natyaranga alongside Shanvi. Vijeth Chandra serves as the editor and executive producer for ‘Bang,’ while Uday Leela handles cinematography and R Sharma is the editor and colorist.

The trailer launch event was attended by several individuals, including cinematographer Uday Leela, editor R Sharma, colorist Ashok, and others.
