The top-ranking filmmaker, Chandrasekhar Bandiappa, renowned for his directorial work in ‘Rathavara,’ has enlisted the talents of the dynamic and popular actor, Pruthvi Ambaar, for his upcoming project.
‘Rathavara’ heralded a new era in Kannada cinema, with Sreemurali delivering a stellar performance in a groundbreaking role when it hit screens in 2015. Chandrasekhar Bandiappa’s adept direction played a significant role in the success of ‘Rathavara,’ a film that garnered significant acclaim and box office success. Following his debut in Sandalwood with ‘Ane Pataki,’ Bandiappa continued his winning streak with ‘Rathavara’ and ‘Tarakasura.’ Building on the success of these ventures, Chandrasekhar Bandiappa ventured into Bollywood with the action-packed film, ‘Red Collar,’ featuring Kannada’s Kishore in the lead. Subsequently, he penned the story for ‘Karavali,’ directed by Gurudutt Ganiga. Now, Chandrasekhar Bandiappa is set to enthrall audiences once again with an intriguing new narrative.
Pruthvi, renowned for his natural acting prowess and acclaimed for his role in the film ‘Dia,’ has also made a mark in non-Kannada cinema. His collaboration with the director of ‘Rathavara’ has heightened expectations among audiences.
The collaboration between Pruthvi and Chandrasekhar Bandiappa is backed by Kallahalli Chandrasekhar, under the banner of Vidya Shekhar Enterprises. Sachin Basrur is composing the music for the film. Further announcements regarding the cast and technical crew of this as-yet-untitled project will be made in due course by the production team.
