The dialogue of the popular hero, producer, and writer Daali Dhananjaya, “Badavara Makloo Beli Bekandrayya,” is now the title of the debut production by CS Venkatesh, with the talented writer Manju Kavi heading the direction department for this meaningful film.
Daali Dhananjaya’s statement had gone viral on social media, and of course, it expressed a valid concern.
Produced by CS Venkatesh under the Sriram Productions banner, Manjukavi is directing this film. Recently, the Muhurta ceremony for the film was held at Renukamba Theatre. Bengaluru East Zone DCP Devaraj inaugurated the film by clapping the clapboard. Many dignitaries, including B.M. Harish, former president of the Karnataka Board of Film Commerce, participated in the launch.
“I worked as the president of the Kolar Zilla Panchayat. I am acquainted with many elites of the film industry. Many friends were asking me to produce a film. Now the time has come. Daali’s words inspired the production of this film. The story crafted by Manjukavi is very good. I also come from poverty, so I resonated with this story deeply,” said producer CS Venkatesh, expressing gratitude to his brother Samana DCP Devaraj for launching the film and to everyone who attended.
“I wrote the story of this film, taking Daali’s words as inspiration. Children born into poor families, no matter how eager they are to study well, no one comes forward to support them. The talent within them will perish if this continues. This shouldn’t be the case; the brilliance of talented children from impoverished backgrounds should shine,” added Venkatesh.
Shooting will be completed in a single schedule in Bangalore and Mysore. Suchendra Prasad and Sangeet are playing the lead roles, with Rajavardhan and Lavanya Vaibhavi portraying their children. Actors from the Kannada film “Friends,” including Vasu and Muguru Suresh, along with Chandraprabha, Chaitra Kottoor, Manju Pavagada, Chidanand, Jagadish Koppa Shivareddy Sanath, and Vinod, are part of the star-studded cast.
The film features four songs, with music composed by Manju Kavi. Anuradha Bhatt has lent her voice to a song about the father-daughter bond. Vinu Manasu is also featured in a leading role, along with providing background music. Director Manjukavi mentioned Renukumar for cinematography, Venky UDV for editing, and Girish Saki, Sangeet Shetty, and Victor Dayal for their work in the direction department.
Artists like Suchendra Prasad, Sangeet Shetty, Friends Vasu, Muguru Suresh, and Jagdish Koppa spoke about the film’s content and expressed their happiness regarding its focus on people-oriented cinema.
