The ‘Back Benchers’ Kannada team is full of newcomers, except for producer-cum-director Rajashekhar and the cinematographer, who are making all efforts to succeed at the box office. The twenty-plus youngsters are the driving force behind this film, observes producer-cum-director Rajashekhar. He admits that he has changed his style due to the new ideas contributed by the youths.
At the catchy song release event for ‘Back Benchers’, director-cum-producer Rajashekhar expressed his happiness for the amount of involvement shown by the youths in all aspects of filmmaking. They have literally taken to the streets to raise awareness about the film, traveling to ten colleges. The youths are determined to achieve something great. “In fact, I have become a ‘Comedy Piece’ in front of the team members,” says Rajashekhar. “I hope the five months of effort put in by the youths to prepare the audience will pay off at the box office.” Rajashekhar is planning for a release of his cherished film ‘Back Benchers’ in the first week of July.
Manohar Joshi, an ace cameraman in the Kannada cinema industry, appreciated the excitement and interest of the youths. “It is a completely fun film. In my life, I am a proud back bencher, and I got to recollect those days of my college. The youths have worked very hard for this film and lived up to their roles in front of the camera,” he stated.
The song “Yello Yello” from the movie “Back Benchers” has been released by Anand Audio. Sung by Nakul Abhayankar, this song appeals to the masses. The music is also composed by Nakul Abhayankar. The song is receiving a lot of appreciation.
“The huge encouragement given to us by director-cum-producer Rajasekhar is not enough. This is the first film for all of us, but we are not new to acting. We have all learned acting. Nowadays, fewer people are coming to cinemas, but we will try to change that.
