Directed by Sultan Raju, ‘Baalya’ delves into the childhood experiences across different societal backgrounds, encompassing the rich, poor, educated, and uneducated alike. The essence of this children’s film lies in illustrating how individuals, irrespective of their circumstances, must adapt to their environment to progress in life.
In addition to shedding light on childhood, the film also explores the responsibilities and sacrifices parents make. Sultan Raju emphasizes that he is addressing certain aspects that have not been captured on camera before.
Embarking on his second innings in the realm of touching tales for children and parents, VM Raju of Sulthana and Jaggi Kannada films collaborates with Sultan Raju for ‘Baalya.’
Produced by Sri Jaganmathe Enterprises, S Sathyanarayanachar Vishwakarma, the film features music from two directors, Indu Vishwanath (the first female music director) and AT Ravish. Ramesh Coira serves as the cinematographer, Lakshman Reddy handles the editing, and Neel Kamal Kengapura has penned the lyrics.
The film’s shooting is strategically planned in and around Bengaluru. The cast includes Narayanaswamy, Bullet Vinod, Kuri Ranga, Nischita, Apsara, Shashirekha, Golden Gowri, Sddesh, Master Ayaman, Master Dikhit, Master Manish, Master Dattha, Kumari Yogitha, Kumari Deeksha, and others.
