On the occasion of the nationwide celebration of the ‘Bala Rama’ installation day on January 22, the film industry in Karnataka seized the opportunity to embark on new endeavors.
The inauguration of the film ‘Ayodhya Rama’ unfolded at Anjanadri Hill (the birthplace of Lord Anjaneya) on January 22, with Gali Janardhan Reddy, a prominent MLA, and political heavyweight, officially launching the film.
Renowned for creating popular films within the ‘Dasa Parampare’ genre, such as Sri Jagannatha Dasaru and Sri Prasanna Venkata Dasaru, director Madhusudhan Havaldar is not only at the helm of ‘Ayodhya Rama’ but also serves as its producer under the Matambuja movie banner.
The filming of this epic venture commenced on January 22 and is scheduled for release in twelve languages, including Kannada.
Vikram Joshi takes on the pivotal role of Rama, while Srilatha portrays the character of Seetha. Accomplished artists from the Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil film industries are set to grace the screen in ‘Ayodhya Rama.’ The musical composition is under the direction of Vijay Krishna, with Narayan handling cinematography and RD Ravi overseeing editing.
Produced by Theertharaj D and Ravi Shankar, ‘Ayodhya Rama’ is poised to be completed within a year, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Prashant Kushtagi, as stated by Madhusudan Havaldar.
