Avinash, who never even dreamt of becoming an actor or acting in multilingual films, is now in high demand not only in Kannada but also in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam. In a short span of time, he has shared the screen with popular actors from different industries and made a mark. You might wonder which Avinash this is. This is the story of the actor who gained recognition through the movie ‘KGF’ and has been acting in several films since then.

If you have watched the ‘KGF’ movies, you would have definitely noticed the character ‘Andrew.’ The one who played that role is none other than Avinash. Originally from Bangalore, Avinash was involved in another profession. Though he had a desire to act, he was never close to the stage. Except for his friendship with Chiranjeevi Sarja, he had no connections in the film industry. When he once shared his dream with Chiru, he introduced Avinash to Pannaga Bharana. Pannaga then introduced him to cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda. At that time, Bhuvan was working on ‘KGF’ and took Avinash to meet director Prashanth Neel. Prashanth, who was searching for the right cast for his film, chose Avinash for a role.

Though he got the role, Avinash had no idea about acting or how to face the camera. Prashanth Neel trained him through workshops for almost a year and polished his skills before putting him in front of the camera. In return, Avinash delivered a flawless performance in his very first film and grabbed attention. Apart from ‘KGF 1’ and ‘KGF 2,’ he also impressed with his acting in ‘Gurudev Hoysala.’

In addition to Kannada, Avinash has already acted in Telugu films like ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ and ‘Waltair Veerayya,’ Tamil films like ‘Vettaiyan,’ ‘Kanguva,’ and ‘Kather Basha Endra Muthuramalingam,’ Malayalam film ‘Oru Peru Kaliattam,’ and Hindi film ‘Baby John.’ He has also acted in upcoming movies like Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Ace,’ ‘Good Bad Ugly,’ ‘Kingdom,’ ‘Bullet,’ and ‘Nagabandham,’ which are awaiting release.

Avinash, who aspires to establish himself as a good supporting actor, says, “I am looking forward to good villain roles and meaningful supporting roles. I was lucky to get a good role in ‘Gurudev Hoysala.’ I played Suriya’s father in ‘Kanguva.’ My dream is to be recognized as a good supporting actor. I’m waiting for good roles.”

Along with acting, Avinash also focuses on his physique and has built a well-toned body. Perfectly suited for villain roles, Avinash is eagerly looking forward to acting in more Kannada films.
