Madhusudan Havaldar is introducing the life stories of the renowned Haridasas of the land to the public through cinema. Films based on the lives of the great saints like “Shree Jagannathadasaru”, “Shree Vijayadasaru”, “Shree Mahipatidasaru”, “Shree Prasanna Venkata Dasaru” have already been released. Now “Shree Jagannathadasaru Part 2” is also ready to hit the screens, and recently, the songs of this film were unveiled. In a grand event held at Gayana Samaja, Mantralaya Mathadheesha Shri Subudhendra Teertha Shripadangalavaru released the songs of “Shree Jagannathadasaru Part 2”.
This film, produced by Madhusudan Havaldar and with music composed by Raichur Sheshagiridas, contains eight songs sung by popular singers. Six songs were showcased during the event.
On this occasion, the renowned Dasaru of the land, 99-year-old Shri Ananthachar Katageri, was also felicitated. Even at this age, Katageri Dasaru sang the Keerthana of Vijayadasaru, which moved everyone to tears of joy. Famous singer Sangeetha Katti’s mesmerizing singing too transported the listeners to another world. Eminent personalities from various fields and members of the film team were present at the event.
The revered Shripadaru, who launched the songs and gave his blessings, said that the work being done by Madhusudan Havaldar is indeed commendable. In this era where most films are filled with obscene dialogues and violence, Madhusudan Havaldar is producing films that introduce the present generation to the Haridasas of the land, which is truly praiseworthy. The youth especially should make the most of this. He wished that the film “Shree Jagannathadasaru Part 2” would become very successful.
