Adding another exciting chapter to India’s fastest-growing sport, Bengaluru Open 2025 — the third stop of the World Pickleball League (WPL) Tour — officially kicked off today.
The tournament was inaugurated by acclaimed filmmaker and co-owner of Bengaluru Jawans, Atlee Kumar, who also played a friendly pickleball match with the participants.
Organized in association with Karnataka State Pickleball Association, the event features more than 250 national and international players.
“Bengaluru is a city close to my heart. The passion for sports here is incredible. I truly believe our Bengaluru Jawans team can become champions again,” said Atlee renowned director, producer and actor.
Filled with the spirit of sport and celebration, this tournament marks a powerful step forward for the future of pickleball in India.
