A film created exclusively for married couples, “Athi I Love You,” explores the importance of harmony in married life. The talented writer and director, Lokendra Surya, has skillfully brought this film to the silver screen, featuring only two characters while the voices of other characters remain in the background.
What transpires when the husband assumes the wife’s responsibilities at work? What if the husband returns home in the midst of his work? This film delves into the challenges of the husband-wife relationship. Lokendra Surya has conducted extensive research within various segments of society, incorporating mathematical calculations that emphasize the concept of +X = +, rather than a negative outcome.
This mathematical concept is intriguing. In life, one may lose while another gains, and life continues with a focus on respecting one’s priorities. The film by Lokendra Surya also addresses the issue of the modern-day position of male chauvinism, which married couples will witness.
The producer of this second film, “Red and White 7 Raj,” greatly appreciated the family-oriented theme presented by Lokendra Surya. Furthermore, the director completed the film’s shooting in under 25 days and managed the production budget effectively. However, more time was allocated to post-production for technical aspects. 7 Raj, who intends to make his next film an autobiography of his life, is a spiritual personality actively engaged in philanthropic work. He foresees the culmination of his life at the age of 77.
Jacob Rajan, the son of the accomplished cinematographer Mathew Rajan, handled the film’s color grading at his father’s studio. Ananth Aryan provided the background score for “Athi I Love You,” a film without songs. Ruthu Chaitra served as the costume designer, and creative contributions were made by Vijay, Sri Raghavendra Chitravani PRO Sudheendra Venkatesh, the film’s distributor Jai Dev, was also present at the media briefing.
Director and writer Lokendra plays the lead role alongside Shravya Rao, and Red and White Seven Raj, who is also the producer, makes an appearance in the film.
