A free health check-up camp was organized at the Karnataka Film Artists Association located in Chamarajapete, for the benefit of artists, supporting artists, and union workers, in fact for everyone working in the film industry.

The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Jayamala, President of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, and former Member of Parliament and actress Sumalatha Ambareesh. General Secretary of the Artists Association Rockline Venkatesh, Treasurer Doddanna, and others were present.

Conducting a health check-up camp at the Artists Association is a very good initiative. Everyone should make use of this opportunity. Many illnesses are detected very late, and we have lost many artists because of that. This health check-up camp offers all kinds of free tests, and by making use of it one can take proper care of one’s health, said Dr. Jayamala, President of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, and she thanked the organizers of the camp.

The Artists Association was Ambareesh’s dream. He worked more towards building the Artists Association than even his own home. His wish was that activities beneficial to artists should always take place in this association. Health is the greatest wealth; everything else comes after health. Therefore, this health check-up camp has been organized by the Artists Association for artists. This is a very good initiative, said Sumalatha Ambareesh.

The Artists Association was Ambareesh’s dream. The encouragement he gave to the association is now being continued by Sumalatha Ambareesh. When it was suggested that such a free health check-up camp should be held at our Artists Association, she spoke to the concerned government ministers, officials, and doctors and facilitated the organization of this camp. Treasurer Doddanna has been putting in a lot of effort for the past few months to conduct this health camp. More artists should make use of this opportunity. Thanking the Chamber of Commerce President Dr Jayamala and former MP Sumalatha Ambareesh for attending the camp, Artists Association General Secretary Rockline Venkatesh said that the Artists Association elections will be held soon.

A free health check-up camp was organized at our Artists Association with the participation of HCG Cancer Hospital, Karnataka Cancer Hospital, Saptagiri College and Hospital, NIMHANS Hospital, Kidwai Hospital, Fortis Hospital, Shankar Eye Hospital, and Manipal Hospital. Several free tests including ECG, 2D ECHO, BP, sugar, ENT, dental, eye, and cancer screenings were conducted at this camp. Many artists participated in the camp and underwent health check-ups. There is an intention to organize such camps in the future as well, and more people should make use of them. Health is important for everyone. Treasurer of the Artists Association Doddanna thanked everyone who cooperated in organizing the free health camp
