“Appu Cup Season 2” (Shuttle Badminton Tournament), organized by Chetan Surya’s STELLER STUDIO & EVENT MANAGEMENT in association with PRK Audio, was held in grand style. Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar and Srimurali unveiled the five-kilogram silver cup with Appu’s portrait made by Saravana of Sai Gold Palace. Ramanagara District Collector Yashwant V Gurukar, Sa.Ra.Govindu, and others were present on this occasion.
Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, while unveiling the trophy, said that the shuttle game was Appu’s favorite. She noted that Chetan has been organizing the Appu Cup tournament well since last year and wished good luck to him and all participants.
Srimurali said that Appu wanted to bring artists together through games and had the idea to conduct the tournament abroad. He always had a heart that wanted the best for others. Srimurali expressed his hope that “Appu Cup Season 2,” held in memory of Puneeth Rajkumar, would be a success.
Chetan Surya shared that the “Appu Cup” shuttle badminton tournament is being held in honor of the greatest actor in the country, Puneeth Rajkumar. Saravana of Sai Gold Palace reiterated that the first-place winner would be rewarded with one hundred grams of gold, the second-place winner with fifty grams of gold, and the third-place winner with twenty-five grams of gold.
Chetan Surya thanked the owners of the ten teams, Saravana of Sai Gold Palace, and all team owners. He announced that the “Appu Cup” would be held in Bengaluru on July 26, 27, and 28 in the presence of Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar.
On this occasion, the logo and jerseys of the ten teams were unveiled, and the team owners and players were introduced. The event featured entertainment programs by renowned artists, including ALL OK (Alok), Samarjit Lankesh, Aishwarya Sindogi, Abhilash Dalpati, Kavya Shah, Sarath Kshatriya, Dilip Kempegowda, Siri Raju, Ram Pawan, Aishna, Lavanya, Devan, Raghav Nag, Tsunami Kitty, Vijay Siddaraj, Vyasaraja Sosale, and Jyoti Vyasraj. These are the teams participating in the “Appu Cup.”
