Golden Star Ganesh, who has three film releases lined up this year and is working rigorously, took time to launch the trailer of Apple Cut, a film by a new team. His close friend, BMTC member Dase Gowda, was also present at the crowded gathering at Kalavidhara Sangha.

The trailer of Apple Cut, produced by Shilpa Prasanna under the banner of Saanvi Productions and directed by Sindhu Gowda, daughter of renowned filmmaker Raj Kishore, has garnered attention for its bold and striking scenes.

Unveiling the trailer, actor Ganesh said, “The trailer looks very impressive. I rarely attend events other than for my own films, but I was happy to know that the daughter of senior director Rajashekar, who has delivered several superhit films to the Kannada film industry, has directed this project. I came here for that reason and also because of the affectionate invitation from my friend Dase Gowda. From the trailer, it is evident that Apple Cut has unique content. I wish the film great success.”

Addressing the issue of declining theater attendance, Golden Star Ganesh emphasized that blaming the audience is not the solution. “Whenever we make good films, audiences have always flocked to theaters. I have even seen audiences arriving in bullock carts in my life. The key takeaway is that we should focus on making good films. Senior actors may have an initial advantage, but even we are rejected when we don’t deliver quality films,” he stated.

Director Sindhu Gowda, speaking on the occasion, said, “I learned direction by observing my father’s work. This is my debut film as a director, although I have previously acted in TV serials. I wrote the story and screenplay myself, and I am grateful to Shilpa Prasanna for believing in the script and producing the film. Apple Cut revolves around five friends. Since I have also studied anthropology, I have incorporated elements of it into the narrative. A corpse plays a significant role in the film as well. Our movie is set to release on March 7, and I sincerely hope for your best wishes on my first venture.”

Producer Shilpa Prasanna added, “This is our first production under the Saanvi Productions banner. We are excited to release it on March 7. I thank Ganesh for launching the trailer and the entire film crew for their contributions in making this project a reality.”

Actor Surya Gowda, who portrays an anthropology professor named Satya in the film, expressed gratitude to Ganesh and Dase Gowda for unveiling the trailer.

“I am originally from Bagepalli and play the role of a psychology student in this murder mystery, which has a strong and engaging narrative,” said lead actress Ashwini Polepalli.

Actresses Amrutha and Meenakshi also spoke about their respective roles in the film. Apple Cut features music composed by Veera Samarth.
