WOMEN’S POWER GRACES APPLE CUT TEASER LAUNCH

During the teaser launch of the debut film “Apple Cut” directed by Sindhu Gowda, the stage was adorned with the empowering presence of women. Shilpa Prasanna, the producer, took pride in welcoming esteemed women from the Kannada cinema industry, including Roopa Iyer, Ragini Dwivedi, and Priya Haasan. The presence of renowned director Yogaraj Bhat added a special touch to the event. Ashwini Puneeth Rajakumar, a noted producer and wife of Puneeth Rajakumar, extended her best wishes for Sindhu Gowda’s efforts, which were showcased at the media meet of ‘Apple Cut’.

Under the banner of Sanvi Productions, Shilpa Prasanna produced the movie’s teaser, highlighting the directorial talent of Sindhu Gowda, daughter of the renowned director Rajakishore. The teaser, released recently by director Yogaraj Bhatt and actress Ragini, garnered attention from various dignitaries present at the ceremony, including Priya Haasan, Roopa Iyer, and director Gadda VG. Ashwini Puneeth Rajakumar expressed optimism for the success of “Apple Cut,” echoing the sentiments of other dignitaries present.

At the ‘Apple Cut’ teaser launch, all eyes were on debut director Sindhu Gowda, who expressed her journey from being inspired by her father, Raj Kishore, to becoming a director. Having acted in numerous television serials, Sindhu Gowda shared her multifaceted role as the director, writer, and screenwriter for ‘Apple Cut.’ The film, centered around five friends, incorporates an anthropological element, influenced by Sindhu Gowda’s academic background in anthropology. She also emphasized the pivotal role of a corpse in the storyline.

Sanvi Productions, producing a film for the first time, aims to release “Apple Cut” in March. Grateful to the dignitaries who unveiled the teaser, Shilpa Prasanna extended her thanks. The lead actor, Surya Gowda, playing the role of anthropology professor Sathya, shared insights into his character. Ashwini Polepalli, the lead actress, reflected on her role as a psychology student in this intriguing murder mystery. The film’s cast, including Appanna, Amrita, Meenakshi, Bala Rajwadi, and music director Veer Samarth, also shared their perspectives on “Apple Cut.”
