A meaningful film by a dedicated team, “Appa, I Love You,” showcasing the significance of fatherhood, is hitting the silver screen all over Karnataka on April 12. This is nothing short of a New Year Ugadi feast for discerning film lovers.

For the film “Appa I Love You,” the charming star initially wasn’t interested upon hearing the first half of the storyline. However, on the insistence of Tabala Nani and director Atharv Arya, he listened to the second part and was captivated by the final content. Subsequently, Prem, the beloved star of Kannada cinema, showed keen interest. He approached the very talented Manvitha Kamath for a significant role, and recognizing the need for a hero role, persuaded his gym trainer Sanjay to take it up. Everything fell into place smoothly for this film, thanks to Prem’s deep involvement. Reflecting on this, Prem, also known as Lovely Star, addressed the media, expressing his belief that this touching film will resonate with both parents and children, providing solace to troubled minds and bringing together broken hearts.

Another key figure in “Appa I Love You” is Tabala Nani, portraying the father role. His well-groomed beard has garnered attention from three producers and directors, proving advantageous for him. Besides his role, Tabala Nani is instrumental in ensuring everything falls into place within the team. Having known the film’s director, Atharv Arya, for two decades, Tabala Nani has played a pivotal role in supporting Arya’s directorial debut. He emphasizes the importance of “Samskara” (cultural upbringing) over mere educational certificates.

Manvitha Kamath, both pretty and intelligent, possessing a degree in mass communication, is undoubtedly a notable figure in Kannada filmdom. She recalls her journey with the team of “Appa I Love You” and felt an immediate connection upon hearing the title, reminiscent of a song from the Kannada film “Chowka,” “Appa I Love You Pa,” featuring the late Kashinath. During the film’s shooting, Manvitha Kamath tragically lost her mother, and the timely financial support provided for her treatment was emotionally significant, evoking memories of her father. She sees this film as a pivotal moment in her career and appreciates the fitness guidance she received from Lovely Star Premkumar, which enabled her to prepare for the shooting quickly.

Director Atharv Arya recounted his shooting experience, while cinematographer Nagarjun, music director Akash Parva, lyricist Kinnal Raj, editor Vedhik Veer, and others expressed their satisfaction in their respective roles.

Actors Sanjay and Jeevitha elaborated on the pleasant working atmosphere. Although the KRS Productions producer was absent, his manager, Srinivas, received applause for his support.
