APAYAVIDE ECCHARIKE TRAILER GRABS ATTENTION

Kannada audiences have always encouraged content-driven films, and the recently released trailer of Apayavide Eccharike, a horror-thriller with a strong storyline, has caught the attention of viewers. Featuring Annavayya serial fame Vikash Uthayya in the lead role, the film is written and directed by Abhijith Teerthahalli.

The trailer was launched by veteran film journalist Saraswathi Jagirdar, renowned still photographer Manu, and Mokshendra. The event was attended by Kannada activists, cab and auto drivers, youth representatives, and other dignitaries, who extended their support and wished success for the film.

Speaking at the event, director Abhijith Teerthahalli shared his excitement about his debut project: “Though this is a suspense thriller, the horror elements will also stand out. The film features three major characters representing the elements of water, fire, and air, played by Vikash Uthayya, Mithun Teerthahalli, and Raghav Kodachadri, respectively. The teaser and the ‘Churuku Notaave’ and ‘Bachelor’ songs have already been well received, and now, the overwhelming response to the trailer is truly encouraging. The film will hit screens on February 28 and is available on Anand Audio’s YouTube channel.”

Lead actor Vikash Uthayya, known for his roles in Aana and Mary, expressed gratitude towards the media and audience for their continued support. “I play Suri, a hardcore atheist. This character is unlike anything I have done before,” he said.

Producers Manjunath V.G. and Poornima Gowda stated, “With the entire team’s cooperation, we have made a solid film. The trailer is out now, and the film is set for release on February 28. We hope the audience will support this fresh attempt by a new team.”

The film also stars Radha Bhagavati, Mithun Teerthahalli, Raghav Kodachadri, Ashwin Hasan, and Dev. Cinematography and music are handled by Sunad Gowtham, with Rajath Hegde lending his voice for the soundtrack. The entire team expressed their excitement and confidence in the film’s success.
