Ankitha, a former child actor now turned teenage actress, stars in the thought-provoking love-themed film ‘Kagada,’ where she is teamed up with Aditya, another talented teenager. The first look of this film was proudly unveiled by the star couple Darling Krishna and Milana.
Ranjith Kumar Gowda, the assistant director of Darling Krishna’s previous films like Madarangi and Vascodigama, has taken the directorial reins for ‘Kagada.’ This marks his second directorial venture after the independent film ‘Apple Cake.’
The supporting roles in ‘Kagada’ are portrayed by Bala Rajawadi, Neha Patil, Shiva Manju, Ashwath Ninasam, Gautham, and others, each playing distinct characters.
The film is set in the backdrop of 2005, exploring life without the convenience of mobile phones, making it a central theme. Ranjith Kumar Gowda has not only directed the film but also penned the story, screenplays, and dialogue. Arun Kumar A, through Amma Cine Creations, serves as an investor for the film.
The shooting for ‘Kagada,’ a Kannada film, has been completed, with only one song left to be shot. Veenus Nagaraj Murthy handles the cinematography, while S Pradeep Verma provides the music. Pawan Gowda is the editor, and Bhushan directs the dance sequences. The shoot locations include Beluru and Mudigere surroundings.
