The shooting of “Anantha Payana,” directed by and starring Sri Kaka, has been completed. Content-oriented films are now increasingly being made in Kannada. Audiences are appreciating the fresh efforts of new teams. One such new team’s new attempt is “Anantha Payana.” Sri Kaka, who has experience working as a dancer and assistant director, is making his debut in the film industry as both a hero and director through “Anantha Payana.” The film is being produced by Santosh Ashok Hegde under the S K Films Factory banner.
“Anantha Payana” is a film that revolves around the story of nomadic Kurubas. The “Sanchari Kurubas” do not have a permanent home and travel hundreds of kilometers with their sheep according to the seasons. This is a story that can be considered quite rare in Kannada cinema. I have written the story and directed this film. Along with that, I have also acted as the hero. The shooting of the film has already been completed, and re-recording is currently in progress. Filming has taken place in Belagavi, Bengaluru, and Maharashtra. I have played the role of a shepherd. The film has three action sequences and five songs.
Music is composed by Akash Parva with cinematography by Vinod Bharathi, editing by Deepu Gowda, choreography by Raghu, and action direction by Risky Shivu.
“Anantha Payana” stars Nivishka Patil as the heroine. M.K.
