Honor of Celebrating 50 Years of Ananth Nag’s Cinema Journey!
Renowned and versatile actor Ananth Nag, known for his dynamic performances across seven Indian languages, was recently bestowed a well-deserved accolade by Sri Raghavendra Chitravani, a celebrated platform in its 48th year of cinema news transmission.
Amidst the jubilant occasion, Ananth Nag and his accomplished actress wife, Gayathri, were bestowed a heartfelt tribute from the esteemed Sri Raghavendra Chitravani family. This felicitation was a fitting recognition of Ananth Nag’s remarkable contributions.
The felicitation ceremony included the presentation of a shawl, Mysuru Topi, Silk Dhoti, Silk Saree, along with traditional bangles, Arishina, Kumkuma, and more, thoughtfully curated by Sri Sudheendra Venkatesh, DS Sunil, and DG Vasudev.
At the commemorative event, held at MMB Legacy under the title ‘Suvarna Ananth’, the revered actor was honored. The gathering commenced with a soulful performance by Sougandhika and Souparnika, rendering the song ‘Hey Sharade…’ from Ananth Nag’s acclaimed film ‘Sarkari Hiriya Prathamika Shale’, dedicated to Goddess Saraswathi.
