What YouTube fame actors of Amruthanjan could do for the big screen with the title Amrutha Anjan was a big question. Now the answer has come with conviction and dedication. Although it has major portions of top-hit YouTube content, there is something exceptional when it is presented as a feature film.

The first half of the film is filled with quick laughs, but the second half is loaded with values that are much needed for youngsters. The awareness aspect for both girls and boys is presented very well by director JRM. He brings justice to both genders. The alcohol factor could have been reduced in the film.
In the first half, we get to see an alcohol trio. Two of the three are not married, yet they still want to carry on with alcohol. In the house of Appaji (Gowrav Shetty), he faces strong opposition from his wife Shree Bhavya but counters it by saying that if he has to give up alcohol, she should give up makeup. The second one, JRM (Sudhakar Gowda), breaks up with his love is behind Uri (Payal Chengappa), a very possessive and short-tempered girl. The third one is a vagabond who freeloads through life.

The interesting tale is that of JRM and Uri. Uri’s over-possessiveness puts JRM in trouble quite often, and this finally leads to their breakup, with an equal share of the money spent by both. All three, dejected, start the JRM Love Loan Firm. For various situations, they offer loans with certain conditions. The crux of the matter is the final realization and awareness in love. The guardian for JRM in all his activities turns out to be his father, Boss, and his mother’s sacrifice.
The film boasts of many tickling moments, and that is the strength they have already earned. This might draw audiences to the theatres, and another layer keeps them thinking and correcting themselves. The pairing of Sudhakar and Payal is very interesting. Both convey silence and anger effectively in their roles. The pairing of Gowrav Shetty and Shree Bhavya is also engaging, and they perform with ease.

It is the Naveen Padil and Madhumathi pairing that chokes the heart and finally brings awareness when the film ends. “Jeevanakkintha Jeeva Mukhya” is what we ultimately understand. The musical scores are very interesting. Jagave Nanage Eduraadaru… and Pritisi Naa Nariyade Nadede… are touching compositions by Raghavendra. The cinematography meets good standards. The editor could have been sharper for this craziest chapter of Amrutha Anjan.
“Only those who have lost can create history” is the advice this film gives, and it is no doubt a strong message for all those who are down in life. Amrutha Anjan is worth watching with the entire family.
