The confident director Srini Hanumantharaju and producer Kashinath D Madivalar, who also wrote the story, present ‘Neevendu Kelariyada Vichitra Katha Handara Hondiruva Chitra’ titled ‘Ambuja’.
This untold crime story is set to hit the silver screen on July 21st, with Shubha Punja, Rajani, and Deepak Subramanya in the lead roles.
The film, filled with twists and turns, unveiled its trailer and songs at MMB Legacy, in the presence of esteemed chief guests Ba Ma Harish, Krishne Gowda, and Mars Suresh. The title track of the film, ‘Ambuja’, sung powerfully by B Jayasri, made a significant impact.
The film features a lullaby from a daughter to her mother, performed by Baby Akanksha. The cast, including Govinde Gowda as a rib-tickling compounder, Sharanayya as a broker, Sandesh Shetty as a transgender character, Asha Rani, and others, expressed their satisfaction with their work on the film.
Making his debut, Prasanna Kumar composed six songs and chose an authentic Lambani colony for the shoot.
Director Srini Hanumantharaju, known for his previous work in the film ‘Kelavu Dinagala Nantara’, expresses his confidence that the audience will discover something untold in ‘Ambuja’.
Shubha Punja, the first to be selected for the film, portrays a crime reporter with three different shades. She describes the film as women-oriented and expresses her gratitude for the enthusiasm of the team.
Rajani, a popular TV actor, states that the role she portrays haunts everyone. Deepak Subramanya and DOP Muralidhar share their satisfaction and excitement in working on the film.
Producer Kashinath Madivalar reflects on the time he wrote the story and appreciates how it has shaped up. He praises Rajani for her performance in ‘Ambuja’, as she had to gain 25 kilos of weight for the role. He acknowledges the dedicated efforts of the entire team.
