The muhurta ceremony for the film “Adhyaya,” produced by Shanta Jayaram under Jaibhavani Creations and directed by Samarth M, with Chaitanya Banjara in the lead role, took place at Panchmukhi Ganapati Temple in Mahalakshmi Layout on May 1. Producer Shanta Jayaram commenced the first scene, while Anaji Nagaraj switched on the camera. The event was attended by numerous dignitaries and members of the film industry.
“Adhyaya” revolves around the education system and will be produced in Kannada and Banjara languages. The film delves into the transformation of uneducated tribal children after receiving education. It is a commercial movie, offering audiences action, sentiment, suspense, and comedy. Director Samarth has penned the story and screenplay, with dialogues by Harish Gowda. This marks Samarth’s fourth directorial venture, following three Kannada films, including “Rudheera Kanive.” Filming will commence on May 10, covering locations such as Bangalore, Tumkur, Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagaluru, and Chitradurga.
Chaitanya Banjara leads the cast, alongside Shobh Raj, Bala Rajawadi, Nagendra Aras, Yathiraj, Niranjan, Dattatreya, Prahlad, Jayaram, and others.
Harsha Kogodu will compose the music for the film, which features five songs. Bharath Cinematography will handle filming, and Sunay S Jain will edit. “Adhyaya” includes five action sequences and will be co-directed by Chandru Bande and Ashok.
