A few days back, actor Gowrishankar had the film audience eagerly awaiting his film’s title, poster, and other details. Now, he has unveiled the title ‘Kere Bete,’ focusing on the fisheries status in the Malnad region of Karnataka.
Thus, in this ‘Kere Bete’ Kannada film, Gowrishankar embarks on a fishing expedition after a five-year hiatus since ‘Raja Hamsa.’ Raj Guru makes his directorial debut in this film, having worked with luminaries like AR Babu and Pawan Wodeyar over the past decade. Raj Guru describes it as a concept-driven cinematic endeavor.
‘Kere Bete’ delves into the culture of fish hunting in the expansive lakes of the Malnad region, set against the backdrop of a village.
Janamana Cinemas is scheduled to release the motion poster for ‘Kere Bete’ on the 27th Friday at 12.01, with Jai Shanker Patel and the lead actor Gowrishankar as investors in the film.
The film’s shooting took place in the surroundings of Siganduru and Soraba, with a tentative plan to release it later this year.
