VIJAY TATA LAUNCHES AMRUTHA CINE CRAFT – ANNOUNCES SIX FILMS

On the occasion of Guru Purnima, businessman Vijay Tata launched a new Kannada film production banner, Amrutha Cine Craft, with the announcement of six upcoming films. The formal event took place at Sheraton Hotel in Bengaluru and was attended by Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao and Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy. They welcomed the initiative and expressed support for the development of the film industry.

Actors V. Ravichandran, Sriimurali, and music director Hamsalekha lit the ceremonial lamp to inaugurate the launch. Among the attendees were Krishna Ajai Rao, Sharan, Ragini Dwivedi, Sadhu Kokila, Nirup Bhandari, Rajavardhan, Dheeran Ramkumar, Shashank, “Aa Dinagalu” Chetan, ADGP D. Roopa, and others.

At the same event, Amrutha Tata, wife of Vijay Tata, was crowned MIEN Mrs. India 2025 at Pune’s Hyatt and later participated in a ramp walk with V. Ravichandran during the celebrations.

Six film productions under the Amrutha Cine Craft banner were formally introduced:

Production 01: Actor and Director – Krishna Ajai Rao

Production 02: Director – D.S.P Varma; Actor – Vinay Rajkumar

Production 03: Director – Simple Suni

Production 04: Director – Rishabh Arya; Actor – Vikram Ravichandran

Production 05: Director – Prashanth Siddhi; Actor – Viki Varun

Production 06: Director – Manju Swaraj

A seventh project starring V. Ravichandran is also in development.

Speaking at the event, Vijay Tata explained the couple’s personal conversations and research around film production that led to their entry into Kannada cinema. He stated that the production house intends to support both complete and incomplete film projects, provide opportunities for new directors and actors, and also enter film distribution.

Ravichandran urged all associated directors to complete their films within six months of starting production. He emphasized the importance of efficiency and financial caution. Sriimurali also addressed the gathering, supporting the production house’s goals.

The event was attended by representatives from the Karnataka Chamber of Commerce, the Karnataka Film Producers Association, and other stakeholders in the industry.
