Jungle Mangal, directed by Rakshith Kumar and produced under the banner of Sahyadri Studios, presented by Suni Cinemas, released last week and is receiving a positive response from audiences. Starring Yash Shetty, Harshika Ramachandra, Ugram Manju, Bala Rajawadi, Deepak Rai Panaje, and Chandrahass Ullal, the film tells a story set in the forest, which has struck a chord with viewers across the state.

The team clarified during a press interaction that the success meet was not organised to claim commercial victory but to share their happiness that the film has won the audience’s hearts. Since its release, not a single viewer has expressed disappointment, according to the team. They shared that filmmaker Guru Deshpande personally called actors Sharan and Dhruva Sarja and urged them to watch the film. Both actors watched Jungle Mangal and appreciated it, which the team acknowledged as a helpful boost. The team thanked them for their support.

They also noted that some viewers, after watching the film, have recommended it to their friends and even arranged screenings on their own. Hearing people say that a quality Kannada film has arrived has deeply moved the team. Lead actor Yash Shetty requested more viewers to come to theatres and support the film.

The team expressed gratitude for the appreciation received during the premiere show, especially from the media. Director Rakshith Kumar thanked the cast, crew, and audiences, saying that some viewers even remarked the film felt like a Malayalam production. While that feedback brought happiness, he also expressed hope that viewers from other language backgrounds would eventually recognise that a quality film has come from Kannada cinema. As the film enters its second week, Jungle Mangal continues screening in several theatres, and the team urged audiences to support the film by watching it in cinemas.

Actor Ugram Manju expressed joy over the appreciation his role and the film have received. Lead actress Harshika Ramachandra thanked audiences for the love shown to her in her debut film.
