Doora Theera Yaana, directed by Mansore and produced by R. Devaraj under the D Creations banner, is all set for a statewide release on July 11. Featuring Vijay Krishna and Priyanka Kumar in lead roles, the film has generated interest through its songs and trailer ahead of its release.
Prior to its theatrical release, a premiere show was organised at Padma Theatre in Dharwad. Speaking about the decision, director Mansore said, “Premiere shows are usually held in Bengaluru, but this time, we’ve chosen Dharwad — the cultural heart of North Karnataka and hometown to many renowned writers — for our film’s first screening. The audience is our celebrity. When someone watches and recommends our film, it brings more people to theatres.”
Mansore also thanked actor Kichcha Sudeepa for launching the trailer and sending best wishes to the team. The film will be released across various parts of Karnataka, including Bengaluru, on July 11.
Producer R. Devaraj shared, “This is our fifth film under D Creations and the third collaboration with Mansore. We believe the film will be well-received by audiences. When viewers enjoy a film, they recommend it to others. We are hopeful about that.”
Lead actors Vijay Krishna and Priyanka Kumar appealed to audiences to visit theatres and watch the film, expressing confidence that it will appeal to viewers of all backgrounds.
The film is described as a travelling love story, with the story written by Mansore and dialogues by Chetana Teerthahalli. The film features six songs composed by Bakkesh and Karthik. Lyrics have been penned by Ghouse Peer, Kaviraj, Pramod Maravante, and Kiran Kaverappa. A well-known folk song by T.P. Kailasam has been re-arranged and included in the film.
Cinematography is by Shekhar Chandra, editing by Nagendra K. Ujjani, and art direction by Saravanan Kumar. The film was shot over 40 days in locations such as Bengaluru, Udupi, Kundapura, Gokarna, Murudeshwara, Karwar, Yellapur, Dandeli, and Goa.
