Kichcha Sudeep has shared exciting news with his fans—his 47th film has officially been announced. At a press meet held at a private hotel in Bengaluru, the teaser of the new film was unveiled, confirming that Sudeep is collaborating once again with Max director Vijay Kartikeyaa.
While there was speculation about a sequel to Max, the team has instead announced a brand-new project, putting Max 2 on hold for now.
The film, tentatively referred to as Kichcha 47, is scheduled to begin shooting from July 7. It is being produced by Tamil Nadu-based Sathya Jyothi Films, marking their return to Kannada cinema after 39 years. The production house had earlier worked with Vishnuvardhan and is now backing Sudeep’s upcoming venture.
Speaking at the event, Sudeep confirmed, “We’re back together after Max. For now, Max 2 has been shelved. I’ll be doing two films this year. Bill Ranga Baasha will not release this year, but this new film is planned for a December 25 release.”
He also mentioned that Bigg Boss Kannada is expected to return by the end of September.
