The family drama S/O Muthanna, which revolves around the bond between a father and son, is set to release on August 22 across Karnataka. The film features Pranam Devaraj in the lead role and is directed by Srikanth Hunsur.
Produced by Puratana Films with support from SRK Films, S/O Muthanna has been gaining attention since its announcement. The song Kamangi Nanna Magane, composed by Sachin Basrur, has already received a positive response. The teaser has also been well received by audiences.
The film highlights emotional scenes between father and son, portrayed by Rangayana Raghu and Pranam Devaraj. Khushi Ravi, known for her role in Dia, plays the female lead. The cast also includes Suchendra Prasad, Girish Shivanna, Tabla Nani, Srinivas Prabhu, Sudha Belawadi, and Arun Chakravarthy.
Music for the film is composed by Sachin Basrur, with lyrics written by Yogaraj Bhat, Jayanth Kaikini, and Pramod Maravante. Cinematography is by Skating Krishna and editing by Harish Komme.
Bengaluru Kumar Films will distribute the film across Karnataka. The team is also preparing for overseas releases in the U.S. and Dubai in early August.
