Renowned singer Smt. Manjula Gururaj’s Sadhana Sangeetha Shaale and Shukra Sabhaangana are organizing a monthly music platform titled “Madhura Gaana,” consisting of 12 sessions. Manjula Gururaj herself provides training and remains present at the event to guide the proceedings.
Recently, as part of the second session of “Madhura Gaana,” a special programme was dedicated to poet Dr. H.S. Venkatesh Murthy. In this event, devotional and emotional songs composed by Manjula Gururaj, along with film songs rendered by her, were presented. Besides the students of the music school, other singers were also given an opportunity to perform. They received training and were awarded certificates of participation.
A total of 43 singers participated enthusiastically in this session. The third session of the “Madhura Gaana” series is scheduled for July 13. Interested participants can register their names by contacting Shekhar at 94480 425603.
Manjula Gururaj has also planned to confer the “Saadhaka Prashasti” (Achiever’s Award) to deserving participants in a special event after the completion of all 12 sessions.
