Another film with the letter ‘K’ – the success of the ‘K’ letter title must have attracted this film team. KariKaada is the debut of a marketing official of Big Basket, Kaada Nataraj. His wife, Deepthi Damodhar, is the investor, and the cute little daughter of the couple appears in an important song of the film.
On the birthday of Kaada Nataraj, the title teaser was released by successful film director Santosh Anand Ram, and he wished the team good success at the box office.
Meanwhile, Kaada Nataraj has the ‘Kaada’ in his name because, in his childhood at Chikmagalur, he was called ‘Kaada’. He retains that in his name and appears in a very strong role. He looks rugged throughout the film and dances and fights with proper training, with the help of Sannappa. Kaada Nataraj, son of a farmer, in fact materialized his childhood dream of becoming an actor. He has done some dangerous stunts and got injured too. Kaada Nataraj worked mostly on his weekend holidays and applied for the leave he had piled up at the office.
Kaada Nataraj’s wife, Deepthi Damodhar, says, “I stand by the passion that my husband possesses.” She had quit her job for this purpose and remembered her daughter Ridhi, who took part in a song with her papa despite having a fever.
Kari Kaada, a Kannada film, has screenplay, dialogues, and direction by Gilli Venkatesh. Kari means Aane, and we have used it as a symbol at one end of the title, while a pig represents the other end. In the title, Kari is used because the protagonist is as powerful as an elephant in his strength.
In Rani Jerry, Kalsa, Chikmagalur, Bengaluru, Channapatna, and other locales, the film was shot, and we are very near to censor approval. “It is a romantic, musical, and emotional concept,” says director Gilli Venkatesh.
Ace playback singer Shashank Sheshagiri has done the background score for the film, and he has appreciated the four songs composed by Athishay Jain. “This film is a combination of Shrama, Priti, and Shakthi,” says Shashank Sheshagiri.
Lahari Velu, recounting what happened at the RCB event, said that it should not happen in any part of the world. “I am so disturbed from this event,” he said. He has liked the approach of the team and is waiting for the release of the songs on MRT Music.
