The first song “Kamangi Nana Magane” from the movie S/O Muttanna, produced by Puratana Films, directed by Srikanth Hunasuru, and starring Pranam Devaraj, son of Dynamic Star Devaraj, was released recently at Mall of Mysuru in Mysuru city.
The song, written by lyricist Yogaraj Bhat, is sung by actor Sharan and music director V. Harikrishna. Actor Sharan and director Pavan Odeyar attended the song release event as chief guests.
At the event, Sharan mentioned that although he was born in Yadgir, raised in Hubballi, and now lives in Bengaluru, he has a special fondness for Mysuru. He expressed happiness that a song he sang was released in his favorite city.
Lead actor Pranam Devaraj said that although the film’s shooting was intended to happen in Mysuru, it did not happen. However, he noted that the first song release in Mysuru is significant.
Director Srikanth Hunasuru stated that it is pleasing to have the first song of his directed film released in Mysuru, the city where he was born and raised.
Actor Rangayana Raghu explained the strong connection between Mysuru and Kannada cinema. He also stated that he and Pranam Devaraj have acted as father and son in the film.
Music director Sachin Basrur and director Pavan Odeyar also spoke about the movie at the event.
The movie is produced by Puratana Films with support from S.R.K Films. Actress Khushee Ravi, known for the film Dia, plays the female lead. Rangayana Raghu appears in the role of the lead actor’s father. Other cast members include Suchendra Prasad, Girish Shivanna, Tabala Nani, Srinivas Prabhu, Sudha Belawadi, Arun Chakravarthy, and Sandeep M.
Sachin Basrur composed the music. The lyrics for the songs were written by Yogaraj Bhat, Jayanth Kaikini, and Pramod Maravante. Cinematography is by Skating Krishna, and editing by Harish Komme.
