The film Suthradaari, starring Chandan Shetty in the lead role, is set to release on May 9. The film is produced by Navarasan under the Eagle Media Creations banner and directed by Kiran Kumar.
Suthradaari marks Chandan Shetty’s debut as a hero. The teaser, trailer, and songs from the film have already attracted attention. The film’s pre-release event was held recently in a grand manner. Crazy Star Ravichandran and Karunada Chakravarthy Shivarajkumar were present as chief guests. The event was also attended by producers Ramesh Reddy, Sanjay Gowda, and several members of the film team.
Ravichandran, speaking at the event, said, “I have been seeing Navarasan for many years. There’s always a smile on his face. A producer should love his film deeply, and this event is proof of that. Chandan Shetty, who is already popular through his songs, is now coming to the silver screen as a hero. The trailer is different, and I believe the film will also be the same.”

Shivarajkumar added, “Navarasan has supported many of our events. I am a fan of Chandan Shetty’s songs and often hum a few. Now, he is stepping into the film industry as a hero. I wish him and the entire team the best. I will definitely watch the film.”
Producer Navarasan said, “It’s a great joy that both Ravichandran and Shivanna came and gave us their wishes. I will always be indebted to both of them. On May 1, we showed the film to a few people including auto drivers. They were happy after watching it. We also considered the small feedback they gave and made necessary corrections. The film will be released on May 9. Please watch and support us.”
Lead actor Chandan Shetty shared, “It was my father’s dream to see me as a hero. That dream is now close to coming true. Our film is releasing on May 9. It’s a huge honor that legends like Shivarajkumar and Ravichandran came to bless us today. I am filled with joy.”
Director Kiran Kumar, lead actress Apoorva, actors Tabla Nani and Ramesh, cinematographer P.K.H. Das, and dialogue writer Kinnal Raj also spoke about Suthradaari at the event.
