Produced by Navarasan and starring Chandan Shetty in his debut as a lead actor, the film is set to release on May 9.
The title track of Suthradaari, produced by Navarasan—who is known for organizing events for over 1800 films in multiple languages including Kannada through Eagle Media Creations, and who is also popular as a producer and director—and featuring singer-composer Chandan Shetty in the lead role for the very first time, was grandly launched recently in front of a large crowd at Mantri Mall. The event was organized by Sharavana of Sai Gold Palace, who graced the occasion as the chief guest and wished for the film’s success. Producers Chetan Gowda, Jagadeesh Gowda, Rajesh, and Gajendra, along with many dignitaries, were present at the event and extended their wishes for the film’s success with encouraging words.
The title song of Suthradaari, penned by Vijay Eshwar, has been sung and composed by lead actor Chandan Shetty himself. Released under A2 Music, this meaningful track has already won over fans. After the song launch, members of the film team addressed the gathering.
Producer Navarasan said, “We are forever grateful for the support you’ve all shown us since the beginning of Suthradaari. I sincerely thank Sharavana from Sai Gold Palace, Chetan Gowda, Jagadeesh Gowda, Rajesh, and Gajendra for attending today’s event and always standing by me and supporting all my ventures. The title song, written by Vijay Eshwar, is truly beautiful. Its depth will resonate with everyone. The film will release on May 9.”
Chandan Shetty added, “It was my father’s dream that I become a lead actor one day. On May 9, that dream is finally coming true. This is my first film as a hero, and it releases on that very day. You’ve all supported and blessed me as a singer — now I hope you’ll appreciate me as an actor too. I play a police officer in this film. Apoorva plays the female lead. Sanjana Anand, Tabla Nani, and others are part of the cast. Today, we’ve released the title track of Suthradaari, written by Vijay Eshwar, sung and composed by me. The film’s “Dash” song has already become a hit beyond expectations. I hope this song too becomes a favorite for all. I’m glad to have worked with such a fantastic team. I’m especially thankful to Navarasan sir — he’s the main reason I’m debuting as a hero.”
Director Kiran Kumar, lead actress Apoorva, actor Tabla Nani, and lyricist Vijay Eshwar also spoke about Sootradhari.
