Through Amma Enterprises, H. Anandappa from Kotenadu Chitradurga has produced the big-budget film Majestic-2, and the first song, Nayaka Nane, was recently launched. Ramu has written the story and screenplay and directed the film. Young actor Bharat Kumar and Sanhita Vinya play the lead roles.
Film Chamber President Narasimhulu, who released the song, said, “This title is fantastic. Those who have launched with such a title have reached great heights. Similarly, Shilpa Srinivas’ son Bharat should also rise. May the producer gain good profits.”
Producer H. Anandappa said, “The film industry is new to me. Rudresh has been insisting on this for 20 years. I started with the Pink Note movie because of him. This is my second film. Shruti madam has portrayed the hero’s mother role exceptionally well, making the audience much more emotional compared to her previous films. The film turned out amazing because of the collaboration between all the artists and technicians. We filmed in Bengaluru, Chitradurga’s Muruga Math, and other locations. I was present during the entire shoot and saw everything firsthand. The film has turned out excellently.”
Bharat’s father, Shilpa Srinivas, remarked, “Producer Anandappa was sent by God for my son. I wish him all the best.” Music director Vinu Manasu said, “The film has five songs, covering themes like language and culture, mother’s sentiment, love songs, and even an item song. It includes all genres.”
Veteran actress Shruti stated, “Bharat has handled the responsibility of being the hero with great sincerity. I played his mother’s role, and director Ramu has written dialogues that touch the heart. This title has a significant history, and I hope it will be revived through this film.”
Director Ramu expressed, “This is my first audio launch. I have struggled for 20-30 years. Convincing a producer is not easy. Anandappa sir gave me an opportunity after listening to my subject. He has provided everything I requested and supported me. Finding such a producer for my debut film is my fortune.”
Hero Bharat shared, “The film showcases everything happening in Bengaluru today. Seven singers have sung this song, and the movie has turned out beautifully. There are six unique fight sequences. It is the story of a boy born and raised in Majestic. My role has two shades. We even shot at Majestic Underpass and the bus stop.” Heroine Sanhita Vinya said, “The song has come out wonderfully. Everyone has supported the film. I play the role of a middle-class girl.”
Majestic-2 depicts the current state of the Majestic area, including its illegal activities and ongoing rowdyism, through the story of a boy who grew up there. The film unveils many unknown aspects of the region.
Venus Murthy has worked as the cinematographer, Vijaykumar as the associate director, and Chinnayya as the stunt director. The movie has been shot in Majestic, Ramohalli, HMT, Sakre Adda near Makali, and Nisarga House in RT Nagar, among other locations around Bengaluru. Notably, the hero’s introduction song, featuring dream queen Malashree, was filmed at R.S. Gowda’s studio.
