To showcase the richness of the Kannada language and the essence of the “Gandhada Gudi,” the team from Achcha Kannada, in collaboration with Overseas Entertainment and G KD Investments LLC, is presenting the proud event for Kannadigas — “International Gandhada Gudi Awards 2025.” This magnificent event is scheduled for February 16 in Dubai.
During a press conference organized to share details of the event, producer Rockline Venkatesh, actress Tara Anuradha, actor Suchendra Prasad, actor Vijay Raghavendra, and event organizer Peter were present. Before the conference, Sanjay Gowda wished for the success of the awards ceremony. Later, dignitaries and organizers spoke at the gathering.
“We have organized this event with the aim of recognizing and honoring the exceptional achievements of Kannada icons on an international platform. It also aims to unite the Kannada community in Dubai and celebrate Kannada culture and the artistic excellence of Sandalwood,” the organizers stated.
The grand event on February 16 will be graced by prominent personalities such as Shivaraj Tangadagi, DK Suresh, Member of Parliament and royal descendant Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Mrs. Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, Arathi Krishna, and KP Srikanth as chief guests.
The renowned Kannada anchor Anushree and leading actor Vijay Raghavendra will host the event on this prestigious stage. The ceremony will honor achievers from various fields, including cinema, sports, literature, journalism, medical services, education, and law.
This year, the Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to actress Tara Anuradha. Veteran producer Rockline Venkatesh, who is a guiding force for the event, expressed his best wishes. Actor Suchendra Prasad was also present at the press conference.
After the awards ceremony, a musical evening featuring renowned music director V. Harikrishna and his team will enthrall the audience with popular Kannada songs. Event organizer Peter requested the media to help spread the news widely.

Expressing her joy, actress Tara Anuradha said, “I had received invitations for previous events, but I couldn’t attend. Now that I am being honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, I feel happy. However, there’s much more to achieve. I learned about Peter’s meaningful initiatives, including the restoration of Kannada schools, which made me even happier.”
Actor Suchendra Prasad wished for the success of the event under Peter’s leadership.
Actor Vijay Raghavendra said, “Peter has been known to me for a long time. I am happy to be hosting this event dedicated to Kannadigas.”
