It is not that easy to travel 3000 kilometers and 80 hours to make a film that is glorious in content, artist’s performance and technical aspects cooperating precisely. World is a stage of hidden Drama! How it unfolds in this 160 minutes # Paru Parvathy is interesting to watch.

1836 Pictures producer PB Premnath has made the right decision in his first attempt. The film ‘#Paru Parvathy’ gives a rich experience to the viewers and director Rohith Keerthy team gives an admirable film for the cine goers. The film is appealing in many parts and the length is the only worry. This film could have been reduced by 20 minutes to look more crisp and tidy. Yet this is worth watching for its attempt and fine presentation.

The film addresses the present day situation of children staying away from parents and parents feeling neglected. The children grown up might give the aristocratic life but the intimacy and humanity missing out is a fact of today’s life. As a software engineer staying abroad for decade’s producer Premnath might have immensely liked this aspect as it appeals to the present generation.

With five grown up children, daughter in laws, grand children Paru (Poonam Sarnayak) feels lonely and she is sick of all giving advice and no one listening to her wants. She decides to elope with her best friend Payal. The new journey in the life of Paru starts and it spreads across three thousand kilometers and 80 hours.

Payal (Deepika Das) is a solo trip specialist with various good qualities. She is an ace blogger with her own you tube having millions of viewers, a painter, humanist, strong in her arms, dashing and daring to take on any risk. Payal wants to give the experience of unexplored places to Paru but the sole aim of Paru is to give surprise by meeting her husband in the Army on the occasion of 50 years of their wedding.

So it is a journey in a car of course with a bike fitted to it from Uttarahalli to Uttarakhand. Paru is also forward in her thinking and smart in various activities following Payal instructions. This journey is very interesting indeed. The two face a few ordeals but things come out extremely well for the two. At some point of time another interesting person in the company of Paru and Payal. That is Menon. The Solo trip specialist Payal announces it as a double trip and one more addition accidentally to the duo makes the journey interesting and intriguing.

The 62 years Paru after a hectic journey finally says she wants to move alone but in the meanwhile Payal knows the health condition of her. The take off from this situation is further interesting and appealing to the audiences.

Whether Paru met her husband in the Indian Army Camp, what happened to Paru health condition, whether Payal finds the right company in her life after her first boyfriend Akash commits suicide? What happened to the interesting character Menon? All these things you have to know watching this film.

Deepika Das’ best film so far is ‘#Paru Parvathy’. She looks absolutely fit for the role and various emotions she has managed beautifully.

For Poonam Sarnayak the 62 years old mother character (she hails from Mumbai) it is a very strong role but the dubbing done by Kannada famous actress Sudharani is appealing. As a matter of fact Sudharani or Sudha Belawadi could have been the right choice for this role.

Fawaz Ashraf as Menon gives very sweet moments. He has a strong future in the cinema industry. KS Sridhar in a guest role is apt.

Coming to cinematography Rajesh is extremely good. Doing camera work for the moving car, capturing lovely locations from Bengaluru to Uttarakhand – this cinematographer is a sure choice for many awards. Hari has nine songs and the background is at a high degree. There are at least three hummable tunes. The lyrics are also beautifully presented for the situations.

This is a film worth watching for the family. Producer Premnath and team have given a rich experience for the audience to watch.
